Andrew Lawrence: The Man of “Don’t Just Do Something, Sit There”
Some people may feel offended and even demand essay writing services if we keep talking of British comedy while leaving out Andrew Lawrence . He features well in stand-up comedy. Lawrence enjoys a sound scholarly line as he schooled at Tiffin School and later joined the University of St Andrews. In the year 2006, Lawrence performed a comedy titled “How to Butcher your Loved Ones” at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. This was an hour-long comedy and he did it the first time here.
This performance gave him an upper hand in comedy as it was selected for the if.comeddie award. He was nominated the “Best Newcomer” in this category.
His star continued glowing, more so in the 2007 “Fringe Show”. Andrews’s program in the event, “Social Leprosy for Beginners & Improvers”, did the best as it was selected for the main if-comedy award. He did not quit the stage. In the year 2008, he stormed the “Fringe” with another hot show, “Don’t just do something, sit there”. He does not do flat actions, rather he spices his actions with songs which are done on an acoustic guitar and a help assignment on this will just be enough to explain this. Funny enough, unlike many comedians, Andrew has a very important duty as he is a Christian builder and this he does at the BBC sitcom . He too featured in the Radio 4 program titled “what to do if you’re not like everybody else series 2” back in the year 2011.
